Although I began with a scientific interest in stones and crystals once I was introduced to Meditation I realised the attraction was to their beauty and energy. It's the ability of Crystals to resonate with and transmute our energy and consciousness which leads to their use in healing. On this page I will over time explain different crystals - their formation, energy, and how they may affect us.
NUUMITE, OR NUMMITE - THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK
In fact, it's one of the oldest stones around, being 3 Billion years old ! It's found only in Greenland and presents a deep black shiny surface with golden platelets glimmering as if from it's depths, drawing you deeper in. It's quite remarkable how people sense and are drawn to it's latent power.
It's been dubbed the " Sorcerers Stone" and if by sorcery we mean an apparently magical intuitive way of changing our physical reality, the name is apt. However if you think sorcery is an easy route, move on ! The consensus is clear. This stone magnetises a lot of deep dark stuff you've been avoiding and demands that you do the work to clear it.
If there is anything easy about the stone, its the seductive nature of it. You WANT to be drawn into it's depths. You WANT to do that work.
As so often happens, this stone has surfaced at a time when it is needed. Currently the World is going through something of a seismic shift of which the ongoing economic crisis is simply a part. We're all having to re adjust our sense of reality and clear ourselves of deeply held patterns which have resisted change for far too long.
