A Large Faceted Oblong of Prasiolite, commonly known as Green Amethyst, set as a Pendant in 925 Sterling Silver.
This gemstone is a perfect delicate Green and Flawless AAA Quality, with very special faceting on the top edges and underneath which created a lovely sparkling effect.
Held securely with four strong claws and a deep framework designed to show off the stone and allow maximum light to sparkle through.
Prasiolite has a lovely light hearted spiritual energy which can lovingly releases blockages through the Crown Chakra, dissipating negative energies and lack of self belief in the Universe.
Personally I found it surprisingly useful to raise my spirits after a nasty road accident and long recovery.
What is Prasiolite is a very good question. It's actually a rare form of Amethyst which turns green when heated. Most Amethyst turns into Citrine, but we don't call that Orange Amethyst ! Still the name has stuck and perhaps it's nice that this stone acknowledges its' roots.
Most of this unusual Amethyst comes from the Montezuma Mine in Brazil, although it can be found elsewhere and sometimes, just like Citrine, it has been heated naturally under the ground, and undergone the same colour change.
The real name of this material however is Prasiolite. Despite the treatment it's still a natural stone at heart, and it's lovely energy is very different from Amethyst.

Returns Policy
