Chrysanthemum Stone

Sorry, currently out of stock

The wonderful Flower shape appears painted on to the black Limestone - however this is a complete natural phenomenon. Chrysanthemum stone is over 200 million years old and that flower was produced by radiating blades of crystal Celestine which laid down the shape but was then later replaced by Calcite or Dolomite amongst others.

The one in pic  weighs 90 gm, it's dimensions are 60 x 85 mm and 5 mm thick. We have just one left happy to send pic
