Tiger's Iron Pendant, Teardrop Cabochon, 925 Sterling Silver
Lovely Example of Tiger Iron which is tawny Tiger Eye with veins of Hematite ( Iron Oxide ) and Red Jasper.
Really hard to gt a good pic as it's highly polished and reflective.
Note that the elements don't run in the usual straight lines of Tiger Eye. This piece has been metamorphosed ~ i.e. subsequent geological activity has partially remelted it and moved it around. Much like Pietersite, this brings greater strength in flexibility.
