This Blog really is more like the confessions of a gemstone addict, 'cos I just can't stop buying :-) You may remember I got an unexpected early shipment from Paul back in July, telling myself that I'd spend less at the overseas gem show, but I spent double my budget there ..... oh well, I thought, I don't need to spend so much with Paul on his annual November run ........... but yes, I just spent another massive amount. I just can't say no to beautiful Gems, and Paul is a special case ! Why ? First because he's a fellow addict of beautiful stones. Secondly because he goes the extra furlong to get the best price possible, spending months overseas selecting and haggling, sometimes visiting the mines and cutting the stones himself. When I go to the overseas gem shows I see the same quality stones, unset, at a higher cost than Paul's which are already set !
