CHAROITE

is a rare silicate/feldspar found only by the Chara River in Siberia. Good quality Charoite is therefore quite expensive. Like many I assumed that was where the name came from, but actually the Russian word Chary (чары) means charms or magic which I think is much more suitable.

The distinctive white inclusions are actually Feldspar, hence Moonstone, which accounts for the emotional bridging between Spirit and Personal power.

The black inclusions if present are Aegerine which helps one deal with the inner dark side in a conscious manner.

One of the 3 major purple ray stones, Charoite is distinguished by it’s cool and fearless nature. Charoite helps you see right through to the truth of a subject or situation and gives you the courage to deal with it directly.

Charoite is also a highly intuitive stone. That rich swirling purple is the very stuff of intuition and connection - in a grounded empowering way.
