.... and Melbourne welcomes me with Winter Weather AND Hay Fever ! That's just not right ! I warmed myself up with rather too much Dewar's 12 yo, a gem amongst whiskies :-) so yesterday was a bit of a haze but I did upload some Luscious Larimar. Today was Party Time in the shop as we went through all the new stock ! Oooohs and Aaahs resounding and staff picking out their favourites already :-) It's just awesome how enthusiastic we all are. So time to come in and get first pick, people !

All good things come to an end :-) and what have I been doing in my last Full day here in Bangkok ? Uploading new Jewellery for you ! Aquamarine, Heliodor, and some amazing " Pigeon's Blood " raw ruby nuggets. All these were sent UPS yesterday so they'll be landing early next week. Enjoy !

Well for the first time I can say a trip went according to plan :-)  some amazing Gemstones bought - in particular Rough Rubies from Chantabhuri. Spent the last week cataloguing pricing measuring and photographing ! Will start uploads tomorrow. I'm also rapt with my collection of Faceted Tanzanite rings. Especially since no one had these to sell at the gem show. OK I bought the stones 6 months ago but sometimes to get the right quality and price you just have to wait a little longer . . . as you will too because I'm waiting to get home to my best camera and light box for these ! Taking a break in Hua Hin, Thailand, before I head off to Bangkok for the Gem Show. This is the most boring Holiday ever - exactly as planned ! Swimming sleeping reading eating, resting and recharging - and after such an arduous day, a massage :-)  But I haven't forgotten my lovely customers :-) I didn't have time to upload all the new Jewellery I bought before I left. Wow. Back in '86 I made a powerful life decision to go read Tarot in a local Market in Perth. After all what else could a guy with an honours degree in Computers and Cybernetics and a c.v. as a seismologist for an oil exploration company do after he'd been to India and discovered Meditation, Energy and Interconnection ? :-) Anyway, that first step was the right one and ended up with the Crystal Heart - which has been a labour of love for me ever since.
