Hi Everyone. Well getting back into it now and just starting on the new stock. So much to do that sometimes I feel like King Canute trying to sweep back the sea with a broom :-) We were told in school that this was an example of Divine Ego, but really he was just showing his courtiers that even a King could not hold back the tides of destiny. Now, if only he was wearing some Dioptase he could have just opened his Heart, embraced the flow, and been a more successful King !

That just about sums me up right now after seven weeks away in Thailand with no housework and only fun shopping :-D. Back to Melbourne's fickle weather and the start of Hay Fever season. It always feels like an evacuation when I leave and a crash landing when I return !

Well I got back yesterday. Been all over the place. Jet Lag is not just a temporal thing. It's really a psycho-spiritual feeling of dislocation. There was the Me in the Shop before I left, and then the Me on Holiday. So when I return there's a confusion of Me. Trying to bridge that gap is exhausting. But. This afternoon I crashed out but woke up with the happy feeling of Hey ! I'm still the same me that left ! The same me that enjoyed a holiday and returned. Life is evolution. Continual change. Even though things seem the same we do change all the time. Every day it's a new world.

Hi everyone. Hope you've all been doing well. Today once again is that happy sad time when I finally send all my goodies off via UPS. The show is over once again. Back to the grindstone :-)
We did well on this trip. No Sugilite anywhere but I did find some lovely loose stones to set. Many of my own settings from the last trip are on their way. Lovely Dioptase crystals, Aqua Aura and other special Quartz which look great and are really affordable.

Well, Holiday over now the "work" begins. OK it is a bit draining walking round all day but buying beautiful stones makes it all worthwhile. Gem Show doesn't start for a few days but there's a few favourite suppliers in Bangkok I can visit. I got a few more of those gorgeous Epidote Quartz Phantoms, some really lovely chunks of Morganite to make into Jewellery, nice Kunzite Pendants - the natural crystal shape, polished and set really simply. Managed to find some Chrome Diopside beads, not often seen, and some lovely faceted Tourmaline beads - expensive always, but we got a good price. Of c...
